Wared warehousing and distribution (wwd) continue demand driven growth in riyadh

WWD launched their first warehousing operation in Riyadh back in December of 2011, the project which was intended to serve the growing food industry and was focused on temperature controlled storage. The new venture proved to be a success and driven by market demands the operations have steadily grown to include a recently completed ambient extension to the existing cold storage facility in addition to two further cold stores in the region.

The newly completed ambient Warehouse extension boasts dedicated docking and marshaling areas in addition to high density racking in the form of drive in racks. The new facility is secured within the WWD complex and has been fitted with CCTV cameras and a dedicated cooling system to ensure a steady ambient temperature of 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.

This new service offering was developed as a complimentary service to the existing WWD - Riyadh cold store operations. Thanks largely to WWD’s close relationship with its client base, it had become apparent that said clients utilizing our cold store services often needed ambient storage for other products critical to their business, these items ranged from raw materials used in production to packaging products for the finished goods. WWD therefore decided to commission the extension to fill this missing element, a strategy which has proved to be a great success.
