Wared Warehousing & Distribution (WWD) starts operation ofits new Chilled Warehouse located in the Khumra District of Jeddah.
The new Warehouse is designed to operate within a chilled temperature range of +2 to +10 Degrees Celsius Centigrade and boasts some unique features for the region.
One of the standout features is a “zoned” temperature controlled corridor that leads to incrementally cooler sectors ensuring a steady temperature is maintained inside the storage chamber regardless of the amount of throughput. The storage area is equipped with high density racking and will also accommodate bulk and selective storage.
This new service offering in Jeddah is created in response to market demands and is in line with WWD’s goal of providing Logistical Services that upholds the “Integrity of the Cold Chain”.WWD currently operates a Frozen / Chilled Warehouse in Riyadh and with the addition of the Jeddah Chilled Warehouse; we come closer to having a Kingdom wide Temperature Controlled Warehousing Operations.
